Christina Louise Borges

Christina (Christine) Louise Borges passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024, at the age of 89. She was a resident of Fortuna and will be long remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Carl Allen Fairfield: 1938-2024

After finishing in the service, Carl relocated to Northern California, where he worked in Mendocino at the State Mental Hospital and as a preschool teacher in Berkeley. He moved briefly to Pasadena, where he studied early childhood education at Pacific Oaks College and married his first wife, Susan Krause née Williams.

Carol Lynn Wilson 1942 to 2024

Carol was an adventurer from the beginning. At age 3 she cut off her long blond braids to the horror of her mother, Laila Ayers, and kept her hair short for the rest of her days.

Leonard Wayne Davis 1943 – 2024

Sandra Joan Katri: 1944-2024

Sandy met Don Katri at a very young age while working at a square-dancing event. Later in life they met again in High school which lead to them getting married in July 1963 and later having their three children: Rob, Brian and Kim.

William Robert "Bill" Warf: 1955-2024

During high school, he occupied himself completely rebuilding a classic MG, re-engineering the windshield washer nozzles to turn 180 degrees and spritz unsuspecting passersby. Bill then attended the University of California at Davis, where he earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
