Charles (Chuck) K. Voight passed away unexpectedly on June 21, 2021, at his home in Fortuna, California. He was 76 years old.

Nick Frank: 1943-2021

Nicholas Andrew Frank was born in Yokohama, Japan in 1943. With his parents Lou and Irene and his sister Katherine, Nick survived near starvation in Karuizawa during WWII. On July 14, 1947, Nick disembarked in Honolulu as a stateless immigrant, speaking Japanese and English.

Rita Wheeler Moore passed away July 9, 2021, after a brief illness. Rita was born in Phoenix, Arizona, on Sept. 12, 1958, to Eugene and Gloria Wheeler.

Skye was the first person to appear nude in Life Magazine, and quite proud of it! She was very perceptive, smart and generous, and had an excellent sense of timing about when to do the important things in life.

George arrived in the United States onboard a ship in 1956 in order to pursue an education at both the University of Southern California and the University of California at Los Angeles. He eventually obtained five college degrees in Cinema, Theatre Arts and Telecommunications, and went on to become a film/communications professor for 40 years.

John Harvey McKenzie, age 81, of McKinleyville, passed peacefully Aug. 11. He was in the hospital for a brief illness, and was in the presence of his devoted daughter and dog.
