Sure, you might spend a little more than you might with a click online or a trip to a big box store, but in the end, it's better all around — better quality, better for the environment, better for the local economy.

It is also American Indian Heritage month, so it's a perfect time to come together and break fry bread with your neighbor at the Northwest Intertribal Gathering and Elders Dinner at Redwood Acres Fairgrounds on Saturday, Nov. 14 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
